I hope they keep doing shows there. A lot of good, sometimes trashy memories with various Raindro Phustla's outside, and random Seattle clucks. Good times.
I did enjoy tons of shows at Chop Suey. But I also got thrown out for being "too drunk" according to the bartenders when I was barely drunk, so fuck that place.
Chris Disef, having only owned the club a short time decides to make some changes.
He installs this inexplicable and useless dais. For all practical purposes we'll just say that it mostly just served as an obstacle for drunk people trying to leave with all of their teeth.
Many a drunken spill was witnessed. Much shit was eaten. Teeth were lost.
About a month after that stupid thing was installed, the club was shut down after hours and I was sitting there with a couple friends who worked there.
Chris Disef was headed out the door with Big Hotdog and a couple lady friends.
On his way out, he tripped and fell over his own stupid obstruction and knocked out his choppers.

yeah i don't know what to make of this. i'm already like "fuck chop suey" because of the stupid noise violations which imposed stupider quietness
